Technical Sales Representative

Job Summary:
The Technical Sales Representative is a key customer-facing role responsible for driving sales of Tateh Aquafeeds products within a designated territory in Central Luzon. This position requires a strong understanding of aquaculture practices, excellent sales and relationship-building skills, and the ability to provide technical support and solutions to fish farmers. The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and fostering long-term partnerships with our valued customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the aquaculture or animal feed industry. Candidates with strong technical knowledge of aquaculture and a passion for sales will also be considered.
- Strong technical understanding of aquaculture practices, fish nutrition, and common fish diseases.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory in Central Luzon.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation and Target Achievement: Actively promote and sell Tateh Aquafeeds products to existing and potential customers within the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with fish farmers, dealers, and other stakeholders in the aquaculture industry.
- Technical Support and Consultation: Provide expert technical advice and support to customers on feed selection, feeding management, water quality, and other relevant aquaculture practices.
- Product Knowledge and Promotion: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Tateh Aquafeeds products, their features, benefits, and application, and effectively communicate this information to customers.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and report on market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and potential opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct effective sales presentations, product demonstrations, and on-site farm visits to showcase the value proposition of Tateh Aquafeeds.
- Account Management: Manage customer accounts, process orders, follow up on deliveries, and address any customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Sales Manager, Technical Support team, Marketing, and other internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, activity reports, and other required documentation as per company guidelines.
- Participation in Industry Events: Represent Tateh Aquafeeds at industry events, seminars, and trade shows to promote the company and its products.
